About
We build one thing, for one industry, and we don’t intend to stop
Lanten started as a maintenance-triage tool for letting agents. It didn’t work — not because agents don’t have a maintenance problem, but because the problem lives somewhere else: in the inbox, where a tenant’s WhatsApp about a boiler sits next to a landlord’s email about a quote, a Rightmove enquiry and a contractor’s invoice, and none of them know about each other or about the CRM.
So we moved into the inbox. First as an add-in for Outlook, now as the inbox itself — email and WhatsApp together, the property CRM beside every message, and an AI agent that drafts the reply, logs the job and chases the contractor, then waits for you to say yes.
Most inbox tools are built for every industry so they can sell to every industry. We think that’s why they’re mediocre for all of them. Lanten is built for estate and letting agents in the UK, integrates with the CRMs they actually use, and is shaped by the agencies who use it every day. If you’re not in property, it isn’t for you — and that’s the point.

How we work
Every integration, every action and every word of copy is for UK estate and letting agents. We won’t widen that to grow faster.
Lanten proposes; a person approves. We think full automation of tenant and landlord communication fails on nuance, and we’ve built the product around that belief.
Design partners in Manchester, Sandbanks and the Midlands see features before they ship and tell us when we’re wrong. Their inboxes shaped this one.
